The Impact Committee and its resulting Foundation were born from a series of meetings in 2009. As a community of licensed dealers, we felt a strong desire to give back to the communities that have supported us throughout the years.
Our discussions led to the creation of initiatives that would directly impact those in need. We wanted to help our communities not just because they supported us, but because we saw a real need. Economic challenges were affecting many, and we felt a responsibility to step in—whether it was to assist struggling families, support active-duty and retired military personnel, or recognize the contributions of community volunteers and leaders.
This vision led to the creation of Heat U.P. Wisconsin, which later grew into the national Feel the Love program. But we didn’t stop there. We also wanted to invest in the future of the HVAC industry—our own professional home. By promoting the career opportunities in this “noble service profession,” we sought to ensure the trade’s longevity. To achieve this, we needed support from suppliers, dealers, and the broader industry.
And the response was incredible. Through ongoing fundraising efforts, especially with the support of the Women in Lennox Leadership Committee (WILL), we’ve been able to offer Impact Foundation Scholarships and the Tools Grant Program—helping aspiring HVAC professionals get the education, training, and tools they need to build a successful career.
And we’re just getting started. As we grow, so will our ability to support the next generation of tradespeople and expand the opportunities available within the HVAC field.
